Take a look at this picture. The Higaunon living in this village used to live in fear! They used to live in bondage, worshiping their ancestors and sacrificing pigs and chickens to appease the spirits. Today, the Higaunon are no longer living in fear. As a result of their ministry, there are churches in over 20 other villages. This week they are celebrating a baptism of new believers in one of those villages! Praise the Lord the Higaunon have come a long way since those days of living in darkness! Click here to learn more.
Tomorrow we head out for a two week road trip. We will be traveling to Wisconsin and Michigan to speak at the Ethnos360 Bible schools. Please pray that students will respond to the challenge and consider how God can use them to be involved in reaching people around the world. The need is great! The job needs to be done! Check out The Joshua Project for sobering statistics!
On this trip we will also visit some supporters we haven’t seen in several years and Lance is scheduled to speak in a church in Michigan we have never been in before! Please pray for safety and good health as we travel and that we will be a blessing to all that we have contact with along the way.
Thank you for praying for us, for the Higaunon and for our family.
Secure in Christ’s love,
Lance & Laura
