Of Grandkids, Translation and Travel

Isaiah 40:28 … those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Hebrews 12:1,2 … and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus… (NKJV)

Grandkids: Greetings once again from the Ostmans. If we were to choose a word to describe this past month, I guess it would be “WONDERFUL”; we had 3 grandkids with us while their parents were at leadership meetings overseas. Laura homeschooled them which was a bit tiring but everyone survived and hopefully they increased a bit in knowledge.  And now the house is quiet – TOO QUIET!! You can see the fun we had with them in the photo here where they temporarily transformed our living room.

Translation: Even though the house was busy with grandkids and then their parents when they came to retrieve them, Lance was able to continue working on 2 Chronicles translation. Thank you for praying for him in this. Please continue to pray for wisdom and understanding.

Birthday Celebrations: March is the month for two birthdays in our family. Lance’s is on the 1st and Owen’s is on the 31st – so we spent some time celebrating! We enjoyed seeing some of God’s creation at a nearby state park. We had anticipated Ean joining us but he’s been so sick this past month. We would appreciate your prayers for him.

Travel: Our trip to the Philippines is scheduled for April 5. That’s just a month away with a lot to do between now and then! We’ll be preparing for our SYIS workshop (in Manila the 15th to the 20th), purchasing supplies and packing our bags. March 23-25 will find us visiting College Hills Baptist Church in San Angelo, TX.
