Little Mamas, Harsh Conditions

She home schools 3 kids, cleans, cooks and learns a tribal language, all with the most amazing agility. She is wearing a led flashlight around her head so she can see to cook supper, well adjusted to the harsh living conditions. And I am so impressed. Way to go little mothers.

Beautiful Feet

As we followed Lisa down the muddy trail, mud up to her knees - I just thought of that verse "How beautiful are the feet of those who take the gospel ......" The truth is not many people would be willing to walk through the mud or live in a palm house on the edge of a hot swamp or battle the mosquitos and disease. Would you?

Log jumping and wading…

Hard ride in a canoe today and a long hike through the jungle. We were crossing rivers on logs and wading. Very tired… but very happy. Thanks for praying.

They arrived safely. The strip that we use was under water a couple weeks ago but was in good shape for their arrival. They left the supply center for the Sepik region and encountered gauges going bad on the plane and went back, delaying their arrival but they did get here –
