Many of you know that New Tribes missionaries teach what is known as “Creation to Christ”. This is an extensive evangelistic approach that takes months to go through. During these months, we have seen Agutaynens turn their backs on old customs and their hearts prepared to receive the glorious gospel of Jesus’ death on the cross for their sins.
This past Sunday, however, Stephen and his Agutaynen co-teachers didn’t teach “Creation to Christ” but “Christ to Creation”. Stephen and his partners had three Home Bible studies in three different homes: 1:30pm, 3:00pm, and 5:00pm. The first two groups began over a year ago and are finally nearing the end. On the other hand, the newest group just began last week. As a result, Stephen and his Agutaynen partners taught the first two groups part 1 of Jesus “Christ’s” death on the cross, and then ended the day by teaching “Creation” with the last group. In doing so, “Christ to Creation” was taught. This coming weekend the first two groups will continue studying the death of Jesus Christ on the cross.
Please pray for all of these groups. Two of the five Home Bible studies will be ending in December – pray for a harvest for God’s glory. The third one should end by March. And the last two have just recently begun – pray that these attendees will be faithful and excited to study God’s Word.
