Missionary Kids’ Partnership

April 9, 2016 by Stephen and Ginger Jordan

As missionaries, we often encourage our kids to get involved in the ministry, however they can and however they want.  Their main ministry, of course, is with the village kids and building relationships.  For Luke and Jonathan, this often comes in the form of sports:  basketball and soccer.  For Rebekah and Abigail, this comes in the form of attending and participating in the weekly youth meeting.

A few weeks ago, Rebekah expressed a desire to make wordless bracelets for the kids who attend our church.

These bracelets are not just to wear, but a way to share their faith with their friends and neighbors.  With Rebekah’s desire in mind, Stephen decided to make his Easter message the Wordless Book.

A simple message it was, but a message that they received and hopefully will pass on.  After the message, Rebekah gave out the bracelets to the children.  Many of the teenagers and adults asked for some, too.  So, immediately after church, Rebekah and Ginger where cutting more thread.  We also gave each teenager and adult a little card that reviewed the colors’ meanings and listed the Bible verses.  They can use these cards to share their faith throughout the village and wherever they go.

Please pray with us for the Agutaynen believers.  We desire for them to grow in the Lord and to share their faith with those around them.
