Cleansing

January 4, 2022 by Stephen and Ginger Jordan

Relief efforts continue among the believers and their neighbors in the Philippines.  Two days ago, the second batch of goods was given out to the villagers.

Once again, the believers received the supplies and then prepared packages of goods for all 400 families in the village.  All in the village who came to the church building received rice, canned goods, noodles, travel-size soap and shampoo.

Before receiving the relief goods, a prayer of thanks is given to God.

The villagers can enjoy a cold bucket shower with some soap and shampoo.  But above all, we don’t want to just wash away the dirt from their skin.  We desire to see them trust in Jesus, whose blood can cleanse them of all their sins.

The believers have surveyed the village and have deemed 26 households in need of building materials.  These 26 households also received some roofing material and tarp to begin their repairs.

A tarp can be used for many purposes, including a wall, a roof, or drying rice.

Lord willing, the next shipment of goods will have enough roofing materials to completely cover the roofs of all of these 26 homes in the village.

Thank you for your partnership in the continued relief efforts and seeing the love of God shared for the lost in this way.

All who came, left with thankful hearts to you and to the Lord. We pray that they will trust the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior.
