As many of you know, we are back in Michigan, and during the month of May we have enjoyed . . .
. . . the cool spring weather . . .
. . . the beauty of the Upper Peninsula . . .
. . . Luke and Jonathan reuniting with friends . . .
. . . time with our kids all together again . . .
. . . and Luke’s graduation and open house!
Luke’s graduation was a time of celebrating Luke’s hard work (and Ginger’s hard work too) and giving glory to the Lord for what He has done in Luke’s life.
God’s people, you, have been such an encouragement to Luke and to us. At Luke’s open house, members of 15 different churches across Michigan came to congratulate him. Their gifts helped Luke purchase a guitar and a vehicle. Praise the Lord for His people!
So, what is next for Luke? He will be moving to Wisconsin in August to begin studies at Ethnos360 Bible Institute. Luke doesn’t know what the future holds for him, but he desires to serve the Lord and study His Word.
The next big news is that Luke is not the only one going to Ethnos360 Bible Institute this fall. Our daughter Abigail has also decided to go to Ethnos360 Bible Institute. This is another step of faith for Abigail because she was not able to save as much money as she had hoped toward her tuition through working this past year. We are so proud of both of them as they reach for Jesus and increase their knowledge of Him.
We are proud of all our kids. Rebekah continues her studies, found an internship this summer, and hopes to graduate next year from Grace Christian University with a business degree. And Jonathan enjoys renewing his friendships and serving the Lord through his bass guitar in churches.
We thank you for not just pouring into our lives, but also into the lives of our kids. We appreciate your prayers and encouragement as our kids reach for Jesus. Thank you.
