With another beautiful sunset here in the Philippines, we are another day closer to leaving the village and returning to the States for a few months.
As the sun is low in the sky for the ministry here in the Philippines, we are daily asking ourselves whether or not we have time to do one more job. Among other jobs and teaching, the last few weeks have been busy with preparations for Sports Bible Camp in July, which will be soon after our return to the Philippines in June.

This past week, Ginger decided to tackle another year of Kids’ Bible Club (KBC) lessons. She successfully planned another year of Bible stories, along with the related passages. Now we will hand this project to one or two of our believers before our departure so they can write the Bible stories during our time in the States.

Earlier this week, we were asking ourselves if we can get a new kitchen started for the church and have the work continue throughout our absence. After Stephen drew the plans and considered what needed to be done before our departure, we decided that this project could not be started at this time.

What project will tomorrow bring? Will we have enough time before the sun sets? Please pray for us as we desire to equip and encourage the believers as much as possible before our soon departure. On the list of things still to do, Stephen needs to prepare his last message for the believers.
When the sun sets for the ministry here in the Philippines, the sun will rise for us with many opportunities in the States. Thank you for your prayer for our family and for the believers here in the Philippines.
