Do you remember that song . . . “10 & 9, 8 & 7 . . . the countdown’s getting lower every day”? Well, another countdown began recently, the countdown until our departure from the States and return to the Philippines. This countdown is on “3,” that is three days until our departure!
As you know, our short time in the States has been filled with many emotions and events, including Ginger’s mom’s homegoing, Rebekah’s graduation, and just having time with our kids.
This week, all four of our kids will be scattering to four different locations for the summer. Three will be staying in separate places in Michigan and one will be in Wisconsin. Please pray for our family as we separate, especially for safety and comfort.
This will be our 7th trip to the Philippines, but our 1st trip with no kids! But we aren’t empty nesters yet. Jonathan will return to the Philippines with the Sports Bible Camp team that is coming later this summer. Along with the coming team, we are counting down the days until Sports Bible Camp. We are preparing and hoping for 100 teens to attend this evangelistic outreach.
