Nothing thrills our hearts more than seeing believers growing and in God’s Word! Actually, many things thrill our hearts . . . new believers being baptized . . . believers teaching in Kids’ Bible Club . . . and we can go on and on and on.
Last month, a new Ladies’ Bible Study started up. This study has been in the works for years, but recently Ginger had a desire to see this study started before our departure (which is fast approaching) from the Philippines. What is the Bible Study? It is a study in the Book of Esther. A great book and a great lady who God used for His glory and His purpose.
God is also using several ladies as they rise up and teach in the Ladies’ Bible Study. These ladies are growing together and having a wonderful time in God’s Word.
This past Friday, we took a short drive around the village, following a route where several believers live near the road. We slowed down near one believer’s house and Stephen said, “Give me your phone!” Was he going to call someone? No, he wanted to take a picture. A mother and her daughters had their Bibles open and were preparing for Ladies’ Bible Study in their open-air kitchen. What a thrill, to see these ladies growing together, and in God’s Word.
