The believers would answer, “Ok lang.” This English-Tagalog expression would be translated “Just ok.” A Filipino wouldn’t reply with jubilant expressions like, “Great” or “Wonderful.” So, “Ok lang” is a pretty good answer.
All reports indicate that they are doing well. Every week, we are receiving pictures, messages, and even some questions from the believers. Even though we are thousands of miles apart, we are still in touch with them.

Others have asked questions like:
- Do the believers have teaching materials?
- Are you still involved in the church in the Philippines?
Yes, the believers have teaching materials of everything we, the missionaries, taught them. So, just to mention a few items, they have:
- Evangelistic lessons (Creation to Christ),
- Commentaries/Lessons for Acts, Romans, 1 Corinthians, Epistles . . . and Revelation,
- Kid’s Bible Club lessons, a six-year curriculum, including lessons and craft materials,
- Lessons for Sports Bible Camp, seven years of material,
- And more.

We are still involved with the believers, as they desire. For example, Boboy, a church leader, has reached out to Stephen a few times, seeking clarity about different verses he is preparing to teach. We are excited to see the humility of this man and his desire to grow in knowledge as he prepares to teach others.
We are also excited to receive pictures of the believers, just functioning as a church body. They are in God’s hands and are continuing to walk with Him. Praise the Lord!
