Well, we have officially kicked off the much needed ministry partner development time! We’ve been looking forward to this time when we can dedicate our energies toward connecting with new partners and reconnecting with long time partners.
I know that we are not alone feeling that things are not normal, in America. “Quarantines” and “protests,” “tear gas” and “looting,” these are the words our co-workers on foreign fields use in THEIR updates. I am sure that you’d like to see things go back to the way we remember them before “Covid-19” was a regular phrase. We are in the same boat!
It seems like it must have happened last year, but it WAS just a couple months ago, we live-streamed the graduation “ceremony” for the final class of seniors from EBI Jackson. It was surreal in that these intensely personal relationships were being wrapped up on a video call. Thank God for eternity!
Lately, we’ve been spending our time updating prayer cards and ministry brochures and going back through the friends we’ve made over the past 15 years. We’ve been preparing to get out and share what God has been doing and how others can be involved in it. We are looking for opportunities to share, so if you catch questions about what is going on in the unreached people groups, feel free to send them our way!
That’s what’s next on the “Get to it!” list, though. Keep looking up!
