How many of you know what that PNG stands for?? Of course … Papua New Guinea. Many of you have asked about or have been keeping track of the Adventures of Cody and Beka as they prepared for the mission field. You may remember that their first attempt at leaving January 17th was cancelled the day before their flight […]
Hello everyone. Josh and Mel Simmons here. We finally made it back to the U.S., or something resembling the U.S. If I didn’t know better I would think I was still in the 3rd world country I just left, the jury is still out. It was a bizarre trip back to say the least but […]

Momentum is Building These past few weeks, the word “momentum” has been on our minds. Depending on your point of view, the events taking place and gaining momentum in our world could be seen as good or just plain bad (a certain virus out there…). Hi Friends We have been back in PNG for about 3 months now, and it’s about time to give a quick update about what’s been happening. Marie will be working on some personal news, and I will share a bit of a ministry update with you all. Reunited with coworkers –Since we have been back, […]

Early in December I wrote in my journal: Today I had a challenge and reminder about what I’m growing more and more passionate about: […]
I (Jotham) had always known I wanted to be involved in missions. My parents first visited Papua New Guinea when I was one year old, and we were on the mission field as a family by the time I was four. I was saved that same year. I remember talking with my dad about hell […]
We are so encouraged with how God has kept Chris and Evie Jones in the race for the Gospel to the Pei people!
In these days I got the sad news that another Mengen believer has passed away. He and his family are very precious to me. When we moved into the area in 2009, this family was the first to open their hearts and home to me and Marie. It’s very very hard for me, as they have become my family! I would want to be there with them. I would want to spend a few days with them, standing at their backs! But this is God’s plan for me for now.
As you know we are not working among the Mengen on our own! We are part of a much larger team. It all starts back here at home and stretches all the way to where we are working. And each link is vital. Check out this blog, and see how you can be part of this chain reaching the Mengen.
