Thank you for keeping us in your prayers. Areli got accepted into the RN program to become a nurse! We are very excited and proud of her. She plans to move back to the community college dorms about August 20 and start classes on the 26th. It’s a fairly intense 2-year program, so we appreciate your prayers for her health, energy, and success. Thanks so much!
Galilee’s migraine situation remains mostly unchanged. Thank you for continuing to pray! Tyndale will be starting his junior year of high school this coming Monday (the 12th) and plans to try out competing in cross country this year, as well as continuing range competitions (plant identification, etc.) in FFA.
DJ is trying to find a time that will work to make a trip to our organization’s home office in Florida for a few days so he can oversee some upgrades to the network equipment there. Most things with the network he is able to manage from offsite, but this is a big project that needs to be done over a weekend so it won’t disrupt the ministries of everyone working at the home office.
Jennifer has been translating some Bible lessons from Hobongan back to English for a coworker who serves in a people group near to the Hobongan, so that coworker can use the lesson material as a reference for making Bible lessons for the people group she serves with. There are a lot of cultural similarities between the Hobongan and this other people group even though they speak different languages, so it will be helpful to have the Hobongan Bible lessons as a prompt for possible illustrations and examples to use when teaching, etc.
Thank you for praying. God bless you all.
