We don’t want to take up too much time, but need your prayer support. We’ll be elaborating a bit more about some of these items in our next update, but for now would you read through these four items and pray with us?
Health: Kate continues to recover well, but this still includes three-times-a-week physical therapy and exercise in between. Pray for her continued improvement. Bethany also continues to walk towards better health inside and out paying attention to “soul-care” and her own physical health. It’s not smooth going and there are still unknown or puzzling symptoms at times. Jack has started a path that includes weekly counseling which we’re grateful for.
Our Finances: We’ve had some setbacks recently with home repairs and our primary vehicle. Long story short, our debt payoff timeline has lengthened and we are in need of replacing our 2009 Honda Odyssey van within months.Though getting getting “ahead” doesn’t seem to be the Lord’s way with us, He is providing what we need, financially speaking, at each point of need.
Owen Graduates Soon: Owen is on the brink of graduating from High School, just months from now and so we wonder, what’s next for him? We all need wisdom in this. We’re looking to the Lord to help provide a good job for the next year for him as well as direction for considering what all to do with the coming “gap” year.
The work of our team: Bethany has much to do with a short deadline and finds it challenging to work in the amount of time she is able to give.
Joel’s doing video, full-time, and finding the work stretching him past the previous bounds of his experience. In all of this, we need the Lord’s blessing on the work He is doing in our hearts as we do the work with our hands.
