Inspired by Debbie’s thank-you party, one sleepless night I got the idea to make some new thank-you cards for next year from Dale’s calendar images. In the light of day, I’m still thinking about that idea as they are not all smiley, but I still might do it!
So I got up at 5am and began looking at mailchimp email templates for my newsletter. I love mailchimp. They even have cut-out monkey paper buddies.
I’ve been using the ntm template, and it is time for a fresh layout.
It’s time for my photos to link to real stories.
It’s time for my update text to be 9-10 lines.
And here are some of the templates I found that are well, simpler or have more photos and put the text just where I want it. And I can pull them into the NTM brand using our colors!
I’ll probably end up using all of them at some point, depending what I have to say. There are even more different art templates like #2 and #4, and I really like how they share a similar design look.
Which one do you like?

After doing one newsletter in the new format, I think that I will revise my idea.
The previous format I had was to share three things present work, story from the field, and something personal. That seemed easier to send out and worked well on paper as well.
The last letter I sent out had four different projects we are working on here and how it directly impacted missions work. That seems to be the best format of these three.
We’ll see! Variety is the spice of life.
