It is with grateful hearts that we share with you that my mom, Sue Watters, went to be with Jesus yesterday.
I, Ginger, am so thankful that we returned to the States when we did. When we first got back, Mom was doing pretty well, and we were able to spend some time together. Her joy was to teach children, and she was still teaching two weekly Bible clubs in local schools, as well as teaching the story in Awana each week in her church. Her goal was to be able to finish these times of teaching, and to be able to finish the month of March well. And God allowed her to do that. We are so thankful for the legacy of love for children that she leaves. During the last several weeks, we’ve had many conversations with people whose lives she had touched and I’m sure there are more conversations to come. I never knew my mom had so many friends! She was such a special lady, loving others, and smiling through pain. What a blessing that we were able to be with her when she went home to be with her Lord Whom she loved with all her heart! Thank you so much for your prayer for all of her family and friends who will be missing her here on earth, even knowing that she is enjoying spending time with Jesus.
