What is your mailing address?  Could you imagine ordering your child’s Christmas present on Amazon and then giving your address as “Hudsonville, Michigan . . . white house on the corner?”  What is the chance of your receiving that package?  Probably a very, very slim chance. Well, a couple of months ago, that is what […]

Last night, our family noticed an unusual amount of people gathering on the street in front of our home.  And once again this morning, there are several people on the street and a constant flow of people going into our neighbor’s yard.  We wondered, “What is going on?”  Well, we suspected and confirmed that today […]

In March of 2020, all the students in the Philippines were sent home because of the Covid mandates.  And that is where they have been for 2-½ years . . . at home!  During that time, the students either had to go online to continue their education or parents, like those in our village, had […]

Yesterday was the finale of Sports Bible Camp with Championship Day.  In front of 200+ villagers, 60 teens played their final games.  These villagers received a gospel tract from Chick Publications entitled “Iyan ang Batas” (The Law), which was the theme of the Camp and all the Gospel messages shared in a variety of ways.  […]

After our adventure of a delayed flight in Grand Rapids, a surprise drive to Detroit, and a canceled flight in San Francisco, we are back in the Philippines.  We don’t know why God closed doors in our adventure, but we know that we were in His hands. We are now back in the land of […]

In less than 72 hours, we will be on an airplane way up in the sky. We have had a wonderful time in the States, full of memories, full of good times, full of meetings, and full of fun.  The boys have enjoyed youth group, playing their guitars, and so much.  It will be hard […]

With plane tickets now in hand, we are busy with packing . . . packing things to put into storage . . . and packing things to ship to the Philippines. If you were leaving the USA, what would you leave here, and what would you want to take with you?  If you knew what […]
