God Works Long Distance

God Works Long Distance

October 11, 2021

Africa (w/out the Trip) If you’ve been following our recent saga, you know we weren’t able to actually go to Africa as planned. So we can’t call this an Africa Ministry Trip. But Bill was still able to do the ministry part. He pre-recorded his main introductory two-hour session last Sunday, once his cough was […]

When God has Different Plans

Thanks to all who prayed. We believe God heard your prayers and answered in an unexpected way. Sick! We were packed and ready. Our Uber to the airport was booked for 3:30 a.m. But Bill had a cough and other chest cold symptoms all through the night. It was worse in the morning. Then it […]

Busier Than Ever October finds us grateful to be well and safe during the pandemic. We pray you are, too! COVID-19 has changed many things in our lives recently, but it has not stopped our ministry of reaching the Unreached. In fact, ministry-wise, we are busier than ever. Here’s a quick update on what is […]

Oh, 9,000, Give or Take…

January 5, 2018

More numbers… This time the number is the approximate number of miles from San Diego to our destination in the Asia Pacific region. 9,000 miles–that’s a long trip. We leave tomorrow afternoon, Friday January 5th. We should reach our destination country after 9,000 miles and (Lord willing) 28 hours of flying, terminal hopping, and carry-on […]

Baby Steps In November and December we took our first trip to South Asia, the region with the most Unreached Peoples Groups in the world. Thousands of unreached groups call this part of the world home. We were blown away by the vastness, the tremendous need for committed Gospel ministers, the poverty, the oppressive idolatrous false […]

Spices and Thankfulness

November 2, 2016

Thankful for Pumpkin Spice It is the season for pumpkin spice you-name-its (and we’re thankful for those!); but we are also closing in on the season for giving thanks in a special way. Since we will be traveling in Asia over Thanksgiving, here is our list… Thankful for Ministry We are so grateful for the […]

Missionary Language Nerds, Unite!

Help! Missionaries who desire to reach an Unreached People Group face a daunting task. Not only must they live in an unfamiliar context and endure an extreme (read: hot!) climate, they must learn an unknown language and culture on their own. They need help. Who You Gonna Call? That’s where guys like Bill come in. […]

There are 11 students there this year, all being trained to go to the hard places of the world, and take the name of Christ to Unreached People Groups. They are also being taught how learn the Heart […]

Why “Heart Languages”?

A person's Heart Language is the language they use to think and to most easily describe their feelings; a message in the heart language will have the deepest impact.

Even people who are skillfully multilingual have only one heart language.

We are committed to the belief that the most effective communication of the gospel and the most fruitful discipling ministry will be done in the heart language of the hearers.
