There is only one thing worse than termites, flying termites!  These flying termites only appear once a year in our village, but when they do, watch out!  In 2009, they appeared in the middle of our evangelistic meeting.  Those who were sitting in the meeting were mostly okay, but Stephen and our partner had them […]

Water Tower Project. Luke and Jonathan with an Agutaynen worker.                 Father’s Day is here, and I, Ginger, want to take a moment and celebrate the father in our family.  In summary, I want you to know that he is the best father in the world.  For those of you who would object to […]

For many years now we have taught the Bible to whoever would come.  But now we are asking ourselves, who didn’t come?  We have noticed that the teenagers haven’t come, primarily the boys.  As a result, we have prayed concerning these boys and how best to share the Gospel Message with them.  One answer is […]

And that is what these seven have chosen to do.  We praise the Lord for their step of faith and pray for strength and […]

One of our favorite Christmas traditions is making sugar cookies. The event begins with all the kids sitting around Ginger as she reads The Sweetest Story Ever Told.  In the story, the Cookie Maker shares the wonderful story of Jesus’ birth with the help of his cookie cutters: an angel, a star, a tree, a […]

I was awakened in the middle of the night by the feeling of a bug crawling on my hand.  I quickly shook it off, and then realized I had only succeeded in shaking it off into the bed.  Not knowing where it had gone, and uncertain what kind of bug it was, I woke my […]

From one day to the next, everything changed.  Thursday was a beautiful sunny day here in the Philippines.  And then Friday blew in with wind and rain as the super typhoon made landfall. If this storm was in the States, reporters say that it would have stretched from New York to Florida.  Wind and rain […]
