Water Tower Project. Luke and Jonathan with an Agutaynen worker.                 Father’s Day is here, and I, Ginger, want to take a moment and celebrate the father in our family.  In summary, I want you to know that he is the best father in the world.  For those of you who would object to […]

For many years now we have taught the Bible to whoever would come.  But now we are asking ourselves, who didn’t come?  We have noticed that the teenagers haven’t come, primarily the boys.  As a result, we have prayed concerning these boys and how best to share the Gospel Message with them.  One answer is […]

Crashed has many meanings, none of which are good.  It could refer to a car that crashed.  “Crashed” can also refer to someone else’s computer ceasing to work, but not YOUR computer.  Well, this time it was Ginger’s computer.  As a result, we have been “offline” for over a month.  Ginger’s personal files were backed […]

Emergencies never make an appointment!  A few days ago, while Stephen was in the office preparing a Bible lesson, a village leader suddenly entered our yard.  He had found a young boy on the ground in pain.  The boy had fallen out of a Star Apple tree and apparently had broken his leg.  He needed […]

I was awakened in the middle of the night by the feeling of a bug crawling on my hand.  I quickly shook it off, and then realized I had only succeeded in shaking it off into the bed.  Not knowing where it had gone, and uncertain what kind of bug it was, I woke my […]

From one day to the next, everything changed.  Thursday was a beautiful sunny day here in the Philippines.  And then Friday blew in with wind and rain as the super typhoon made landfall. If this storm was in the States, reporters say that it would have stretched from New York to Florida.  Wind and rain […]

It has been our goal, as our girls get older, to have a special time each year for just Mom and daughters.  This year, we decided to have our girls’ day while we were in Manila, a few days after Abigail’s check-up. Grandma Jordan had just returned to the country after a short furlough, so […]

Many of you know that New Tribes missionaries teach what is known as “Creation to Christ”.  This is an extensive evangelistic approach that takes months to go through.  During these months, we have seen Agutaynens turn their backs on old customs and their hearts prepared to receive the glorious gospel of Jesus’ death on the […]
