Our hearts are rejoicing to hear news from the Philippines!  Two weeks ago, a new evangelistic outreach started . . . in Riverside, a neighborhood in the village. This is exciting news for many reasons.  For one, this might be the result of Kids’ Bible Club in the home last year, and secondly, Riverside is […]

You may have noticed that you haven’t heard from us for a while.  That’s because we usually only share with you about what is happening with the ministry.  This summer, we have chosen to unplug from ministry and take time to plug in to our home church and soak in some great Bible teaching.  We […]

Quarantine wasn’t all fun and games, but Ginger did her best to make sure we had plenty of games to keep us from . . . who knows what.  We played games like Mexican Train, Survivor, Encore, Mad Gab, and Guesstures.  The boys snuck outside to throw their new Vortex Nerf footballs.  And everyone, except […]

Where oh where to begin?  We could begin at the end and just tell you:  “We are back in Michigan!”  But then you might not read on.  So, just forget the end of the story and let’s go back three weeks to the beginning when we first asked you to “walk by faith” with us […]

With one last surge before packing our bags for the States, this past week we hosted Youth Bible Camp in the village with the help of several believers.  This was an evangelistic outreach that reached 85 teens and young single adults.  The theme was “The Greatest Man.”  In six nights, we studied the Word of […]

Throughout the years, we have been invited to numerous weddings here in the village.  But none of them were as special as the one Stephen attended last week.  What made this wedding so special?  This is the first wedding here with two believers, both members of our church.  Please rejoice with us as Joey and […]

My in-laws have been on my mind and heart lately, and I (Ginger) wanted to share a bit about this wonderful couple.  A bit of history first.  Darryl and Becky Jordan became missionaries after their children were grown.  They spent their first ten years of missionary life in a remote village in Papua New […]

With only seven more weeks in the village before heading to the US for our delayed Home Assignment, we are striving to finish strong.  Ginger has worked hard over the last few weeks preparing materials for the teen girls to use as Bible study material for the next few years during their Saturday Bible study.  […]

As many of you know, on December 26, the believers handed out gifts from Faith Bible Church and asked the recipients why they celebrated Christmas.  After receiving a variety of responses, the believers gave a short but clear Gospel message at each and every home.  However, none of us knew it on that day that […]
